This is the gain of a studio level input preamplifier newly launched by Lyr pedals (ly-rock).

Turn the in control clockwise to increase the amount of compression. As the gain increases, the guitar will become more and more sensitive. If the gain is too large, the preamplifier will clip and distort. At lower gain settings, compression is very important because most of the signals entering the first compressor section are lower than the internal reading value of the compressor. The signal level must exceed this wide value to start gain reduction. Therefore, at a lower gain setting, only the signal peak is stamped.

Aterel 1: this control sets the attack and release characteristics of two compressors in the pedal at the same time.

These parameters determine how long it takes the compressor to respond to the signal and initiate a gain reduction, and how long the gain reduction lasts before the compressor returns to idle.

With the clockwise rotation of ATT / RAL knob, the compressor has a slow attack and rapid release, which is most suitable for percussion performance. A slow attack allows the initial transient of each note to avoid compression, thus emphasizing your choice of attack, while a fast release means that the compression cam recovers in time for the next note.

Rotating counterclockwise, the compressor has a fast attack and slow release, providing a smoother and more “sponge” feeling. A fast attack means that the entire note is compressed to provide a more uniform gain reduction, while a slow release means that the gain reduction will gradually decrease without a sudden “suction” effect.

Thru: the thru controller sets the signal level from the output of the first compressor to the input of the second compressor.

Like the in knob, this knob in turn determines the amount of compression applied by the second compressor.

Rotate the thru control counterclockwise to weaken the signal leaving the first compressor and make it fall below the reading value of the second compressor to reduce the compression. Turn the control lever clockwise to increase the impact on the second compressor and increase the compression.

Attrel & this eontral sets the attack and release characteristics of the second compressor. Like the attack / release control of the first compressor, it ranges from fast attack and slow release (counterclockwise) to slow attack and fast release (clockwise).

Dry: dry control changes the number of dry, uncompressed signals that appear at the output signal, thereby mixing the original, unaffected signal with the compressed signal.

You mean to adjust the balance between compressed and uncompressed signals by adjusting the corresponding out and dry sections.

Out: the out control determines the level of the output signal at the pedal. This can be set at ander to keep the influence level of ewerall close to the dry (bypass) signal. Alternatively, levels can be raised to help project guitar solos.
